Bank of China (HK) - 56th Festival of Sport - Photography Seminar (Chinese Version only)

Please be informed that the Association’s Legal Counsel, Hoosenally & Neo, 
has advised the following:

1.    "at least 7 clear days prior to the holding of the Annual General Meeting", does not include 
       Sundays and Public Holidays, therefore the nomination period closed after 23:59 hours 
       05 December 2012, and all nominations received on or after 00:00 06 December 2012 are 
       considered invalid. 

2.    All Ordinary Members above 18 years of age on 26 January 2013, are eligible to attend and 
       vote at the resumption of the Adjourned AGM.

3.    For the avoidance of doubt, all nominees from the floor of the Meeting and his proposer 
       andseconder must complete and sign the nomination and declaration forms again, 
       which must be dated 26 January 2013, and submitted immediately to the Chairman 
        or Secretary at the Meeting. An exact time of receipt will also be noted on the form.

4.    Members present at the Meeting can also decide by majority vote to accept as 
       valid all nominations previously submitted up to 18:00 on 7 December 2012, in the interest 
       of time and efficiency.

 Notice of Annual General Meeting

In order to enable and accommodate members to attend the TriHK’s Annual General Meeting, 
the Age Grouper swim session from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on 14 December 2012 will be cancelled. 
You may start to swim earlier at 5:00pm and finish before 6:30pm on the same day should you 
wish to.
 
We sincerely hope that you could attend the AGM and the Annual Awards Presentations. Kindly
 be reminded that the AGM will start at 7:30pm sharply at the Jockey Club Lecture Theatre, 
Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

by the finish line immediately attended to the stricken athlete. Ambulance services came very
shortly thereafter and evacuated the person to the nearest hospital. We are very sad to inform 
that all efforts at resuscitation were not responsive. The Association expresses its deepest and
sincerest condolences to the deceased’s family and friends, and will use our best endeavours to 
assist them. At this moment, our prayers and thoughts are with our comrade, the family and friends.

We regret to inform you the cancellation of the 2012 Off-Road Triathlon 
and Duathlon races, to be held on 18 March 2012, at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort due 
to insufficient number of participants. This was a very difficult decision. We look forward to 
organize it again in the near future and receive greater support from the general public.
 
Entry fees paid will be refunded by means of cheques payable to the registered participants. 
Please advise your name in full by replying email, so that we can arrange the refund cheques 
as soon as possible.
 
We thank you again for supporting the Off-Road Triathlon and Duathlon races. We look 
forward to your participation in other Tri HK events.

to be held on 17 December 2011, Saturday, at 3:00pm, Jockey Club Lecture Theatre, 2/F., Olympic House.
Please be punctual.

Nomination list for Tri HK Vice President / Hon. Secretary / Executive Committee Members

The HKSI is now inviting candidates for the vacancy of Head Triathlon Coach. Interested parties please

Tri HK is sourcing race kits for 2012. Interested vendors, please to contact the Tri HK Secretariat

Management and Marketing Agencies to submit proposal for the sponsorship of the Tri HK 
events, including the Hong Kong ITU Triathlon Asian Cup, i.e.
a) year round events sponsorship
b) sponsorship of Hong Kong ITU Triathlon Premium Asian Cup
c) year round events sponsorship plus sponsorship of Hong Kong ITU Triathlon Premium Asian Cup

on 23 & 24 September. Day I’s race on 23rd was individual races, where Edith Li came 4th in the Female 
Elite U23, Perry Wong came 5th in the Male Elite Junior and Hilda Choi came 6th in the Female Elite Junior. 

The newly introduced 4 x Mixed Team Relay was held this morning. A team of four comprises 2 male and 
2 female athletes, each finishing 250m swim, 8km bike and 2km run, one after the other. The Hong Kong 
Team comprises Edith Li, Hilda Choi, Ho King Fun and Perry Wong had a fantastic race in the morning, 
and obtained a bronze medal for Hong Kong. The gold and silver medal went to Japan and Korea. 
The Hong Kong Male and Female Elite Junior also came 2nd in the Team category.

Due to overwhelming response, all the quotas for 2011 National Triathlon Championships

and it is on first come first serve basis.  Due to overwhelming response, limited number of quota is still 
available.  Interested parties please visit our online system and enroll the race as soon as possible.

Regal Riverside Hotel has kindly offered a special package for the overseas participants 
for the 2011 Hong Kong National Triathlon Championships. Interested parties can 
download the form and arrange with the hotel directly. Athletes may also make alternate 
arrangement as they think fit.

Further information on the Hong Kong National Triathlon Championships will be announced in the next few days through the Tri HK website and FaceBook. Enrollment will commence thereafter. Please keep an eye on them.

We thank you again for all of your support over the years, and we trust the organizing of the Hong Kong National Triathlon Championships will give our members a better opportunity to race in the one of the few Triathlon races that we can put up in a year. Thank you again.

Subsequent to our previous posting regarding TriHK's legal action (DCCJ No. 4338 of 2010) against Sportsoho Media Limited, TriHK would like to update members that Sportsoho Media Limited has now paid TriHK the principal amount (HK$600,000) outstanding plus costs.

Subsequent to our previous posting regarding TriHK's legal action (DCCJ No. 4338 of 2010) against Sportsoho Media Limited, TriHK would like to update members that Sportsoho Media Limited did not honour their cheque payment of HK$400,000 and cheque was returned to TriHK's lawyer unpaid. TriHK is proceeding with the winding up of Sportsoho.

Please take note that Tri HK commenced legal action (DCCJ No. 4338 of 2010) on 14/12/2010 against its marketing partner, Sportsoho Media Limited, for payment of HK$600,000.00 in connection with the event of K-Swiss 2010 Hong Kong ITU Triathlon Asian Cup.  On 19/03/2011, the Court entered Judgment in favour of Tri HK against Sportsoho Media Limited for the said sum of HK$600,000.00 plus interest and costs in default of defense.  Notwithstanding our repeated demands, Sportsoho Media Limited has failed to comply with the Judgment to date.  Tri HK shall and is determined to take further enforcement action against Sportsoho Media Limited.

Tri HK will keep members updated on this matter in due course.

 during the Tri Kids Duathlon Series held on 13 February 2011 at Science Park, and the results
 have not yet been announced. The Events Sub-Committee is reviewing the matter. 
 We will keep all athletes involved informed once decision has been made.
