Oakley x HKTriA Snapshot Program

Prospectus
Objective:
To capture the exciting moments of athletes participating in the local Triathlon / Aquathon / Duathlon races organized by HKTriA. HKTriA and Oakley will hold the “Oakley X HKTriA Snapshot Program”. All award-winning photos will be posted under HKTriA website / Facebook so that athletes can share their pleasant memories of the sport of triathlon with public.
Subject:
All athletes are invited to contribute their own competition action photos shown wearing Oakley eyeglasses during HKTriA’s 2009 eligible races. Click here for the sample photos for your reference (Please refer to table 1 for the eligible races)

Charges: Free of charge
Target: All race participants are welcome to submit your photos. Entrants must be the competition athlete
Panel of Judges:
2 representatives from Hong Kong Triathlon Association, Promotion and Publicity Sub-committee
2 representatives from Frontside Limited (The distributor of Oakley in Hong Kong)
Photo Specifications
Each athlete may submit only one (1) e-copy of the photo from each competition. The photo shall be at least (1024 x 768). Computer effect, alterations, touch-ups or enhancements are not allowed. If anyone is found to have submitted more than one photo, HKTriA reserves the right to disqualify him/her from the Contest.
Submission of Entries:
Athletes must be submitted within 7 days after the competition event by email (hktria@triathlon.com.hk)
Submission of photo together with your personal information including: your name, gender, contact number, name of photographer and email address shall be emailed to HKTriA office. The subject of the Email should be clearly stated “Oakley x HKTriA Snapshot Program – photo submission”. Late submissions will not be accepted. Please refer to table 1 for the Deadlines for each competition.
Selection
For each competition, our panel of judges will select the best 5 male and best 5 female action photos, those 10 athletes can automatically enter the year end final contest.
For the final contest, all photos will be posted under HKTriA website / Facebook for members voting. A total of 2 winners (1 Male and 1 Female) will be selected.

All prizes will be presented at HKTriA AGM and Prize Presentation Ceremony (date to be confirmed).
Announcement of the Winners of the Final Contest
The final contest results will be announced at the HKTriA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Prize Presentation Ceremony after the assessment. All award-winning photos will be displayed on the HKTriA Website / Facebook page.
By-laws:
1. Athlete must get the authorization by the photographer before summiting the action photo to HKTriA.
2. Anyone shall not obstruct the progress of races nor endanger the safety of athletes, officials and spectators. HKTriA may designate an area for photography, restrict the number of entrants for photo-taking or prohibit photo-taking activity as and when necessary.
3. Employees or Executive Committee members of Hong Kong Triathlon Association and Frontside Limited (The distributor of Oakley in Hong Kong) are not eligible to join this activity.
4. Photos submitted will not be returned and will remain the property of HKTriA. As and when necessary, HKTriA reserves the right to require an entrant or winner to submit the original of his/her photo or a CD-ROM containing the digital file of the original for examination or reproduction without paying the winner any royalty or remuneration. Objections from entrants will not be entertained. If an entrant cannot provide any of the above requirements, HKTriA has the right to strip him/her of his/her winning title and cancel his/her award.
5. HKTriA and Frontside Limited (The distributor of Oakley in Hong Kong) may also display/publish the works on the Internet, in the publications of the sponsors, and through other publicity channels without paying any royalty or remuneration to the entrants.
6. The decision of the judges shall be final. Objections from entrants will not be entertained.
7. If there are any inadequacies or in the rules and regulations, HKTriA reserves the right to make amendments at any time, and its decision on the interpretation and application of the rules and regulations will be final.
